Mr Transmission treated me fairly and very professionally. The general manager of the business was very friendly and treated me like a person not just a customer walking in the door. If you have ever been to a place that treated you like a number then you understand how nice this can make you feel. We even ran into a unforeseen issue during the repair and the General Manager continued to be very professional and got repairs done in a very timely manner.

I've been going to these guys for years now and there is no one else that I can trust with my car troubles. They have always done great work and given Mr fair prices as well. They are very knowledgeable and have decades of experience in the automotive industry. No better place to get your car taken care of!!!

Mr.Transmission took on a job when I had my daughters car hauled to them from another transmission shop that literally messed up everything they touched on the car. The transmission was rebuilt and the car was cleaned and returned to us within two and a half days. The service, professionalism, respect and communication was beyond my expectations. Mr. Transmission of Johnson City, TN is more than just a mechanic's shop. The owners and employees of this company turned a terrifying experience into an unexpected and powerful blessing. I was stranded on the side of the road with 8 children, 3 hours from my home, and 5 hours from anyone that could help. From the moment that I first spoke with Rick, until the joyful moment I drove my car from their shop, the Mr. Transmission team helped me through EVERY aspect of the experience. It wasn't just about fixing my car, it was about HELPING us. They all went above and beyond: providing refreshment for us, helping us to find a hotel to spend the night, providing transportation when needed, and most of all, showing kindness and honesty to a family in distress. Not only was Rick straight-forward and honest in all our conversations, but he went the extra mile to make sure I understood all of my options and the entire cost of every step of the way. His great sense of humor helped to ease my worries and put a smile on my kids' faces! The owners, Tim and Laura, were personally involved in every aspect of the work, as well as, opening their hearts to us and making us feel safe in our uncertain circumstances. Their generosity and kindness will not be forgotten! I cannot say enough good things about this experience with the Mr. Transmission team. They treated me fairly, honestly, and with good faith. What they may not know, but I am proud to share, is that they helped me to show my children that - even when things seem the darkest - there are GOOD people who want to help and who will not take advantage! I called to attempt to get a price quote on a simple transmission fluid flush and replaced the lady that answered the phone was very polite and needed to get me over to "Rick" the service manager. After 5 times of saying "I have a 2003 Subaru WRX with a specialty built PPG transmission and I need it to be serviced by changing the fluid. For some reason he talked down to me saying so you need a service what's the car what you need done the same questions every time I said the same I finally just gave up and said never mind. That was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. If they can't talk to you with respect on the phone I'm not going to take my car that I have built for the last 5 years and spent a small fortune on to build not only the transmission but the entire car. For example the transmission I needed serviced cost a little over 6000 dollars. These people are a joke. I went back and seen other type reviews that they said Google user and the owner denies them because they did not show who they are. Her is how serious I am I downloaded google maps just to be able to write this.

My mom and sister took a 2003 jeep liberty there because the transmission was slipping. I know nothing about the transmission so I couldn't fix it they read the codes and found out it was the throttle control valve 60 bucks and a oxygen sensor 30 bucks and a catalic converter in all everything was less than 400 they tried to charge her 1100 dollars they Double the cost of parts from any parts store so they told her to leave it there and pay for everything when she could she said no so when she got it home the car was smoking because they drove a flat headed screwdriver through the radiator don't take your car there take it to a honest group of people

We recommend Mr. Transmission to anyone with work needing to be done on their vehicle.... my parents transmission went bad and were without a car and they had it fixed in such a great time frame and wonderful customer service... No matter calling and checking on progress they never minded answering questions, good price, great service and friendly....
