I want to express my thanks and appreciation to Mr. Rick Minnick, General Manager of Mr. Transmission in Johnson City, Tennessee. I took my daughter's car there to fix a "transmission problem." Like all emergency repairs, it needed to be done yesterday. Mr. Minnick invited me into his office, discussed the issue (he actually listened to me) and he immediately committed to fix the problem. He found a replacement transmission that he could have delivered the very next day. We scheduled the service and took steps necessary to deliver the car to his shop by that afternoon. After I left his office, he personally called in about two hours and said the car did not have a transmission problem, but rather the entire rear end (differential) had failed. He said he could have a re-built axle delivered in the morning and he thought he could have it installed by the afternoon of the very next day. And more importantly for considerably less money than I thought I had obligated myself to when I had initially left his office. The following day, he called and said the car was done, two hours sooner than he had promised. He lived up to his commitment and in a shorter time frame than he promised and for less money. I cannot express adequately enough my appreciation for a first class professional job well done by Mr. Transmission and Mr. Rick Minnick. If you want treated as a valued customer and want to feel that you were not cheated by an auto service company, then go to Mr.Transmission. Mr. Rick Minnick will take care of you and your car.
