Diagnostic

There are many different types of diagnostics needed to properly diagnose today's vehicles such as:

Preliminary Daignostic - Computer Daignostic - Eletrical - Mechanical - Hydraulic - Vibration - Audible - Driveability

Depending on what type of diagnostics you are needing, our in house preliminary diagnostics service can get to the root of most failures quickly. This is not the same diagnostic scan a parts store performs when it only scans for generic codes and you should never replace any parts just based on a code. That type of diagnostic will cost you money on parts that are not the root cause of the failure.

Our Certified Master Technicians utilizes state-of-the art diagnostic equipment used to connect to your vehicle's computer to view all computer trouble codes and their data stream. Today's vehicles are primarily computer controlled and utilize very sophisticated technology to operate properly. The use of this technology plays a significant part in the proper diagnosis of your vehicle's performance.

When your vehicle is illuminating the "Check Engine" light or not running properly, our trained certified technicians often use professional computer diagnostics equipment to help determine what part is malfunctioning and what service is truly needed. When a warning light is illuminated, this means your on-board computer system in your vehicle has detected a problem or a service is needed with one or more of the many different systems it monitors and controls, such as your engine or transmission. We normally recommend our Computer Diagnostic Service to provide you with a preliminary assessment of your vehicle's condition.

Our preliminary diagnostic is free with repairs, otherwise the fee is $49.95 plus tax. In most cases, this is cheaper than the dealership by 1/2 and is credited towards the repair so it ends up being free with repair. This fee does not represent all cost associated to all types of other needed diagnostics.

Why is there a small fee?
This small fee covers our Certified Master Technician's time to check out your vehicle. Our trained technicians utilize the same procedures as the dealerships by retrieving this diagnostic data information directly from the vehicle's data stream to accurately pinpoint your system's failure or service needs. If possible, they will preform a Road Test, Lift Inspection, Leak Check, Adjustment Check, Visual and Audible check to your vehicle. Once the data is retrieved and the trouble code(s) are recorded, our technicians can provide a written repair recommendation to return your vehicle to its Road Ready condition.
